Assessment

First mark: you will be working in pairs . Each group has to choose a topic they want the class to debate on, and prepare ideas, questions etc for the debate on cue cards. No reading! Interact! And enjoy!!! You may organise the debate as a presentation first, but then, you will move on to the debate.

Assessment:
I will be marking your language skills out of the first 10 points; your peers will be marking your communication skills out of the other remaining 10 points, using the assessment grid provided here:

Please bear in mind that this is the first time I am asking you to assess one another….If this assessment is not done seriously enough, I will cancel it and resume the marking.
