VIDEO
Your task: please research some sports tournament or training session, in order to collect data and do some analysis. This can be performance analysis, or any kind of analysis you are interested in.
You will present the objective of your research and analysis, explaining the evolution, the trends, and give your conclusions. As for the format of your presentation, get some inspiration from the swimming performance analysis we saw together.
Reading notes is FORBIDDEN. Learning by heart is not advised :). A concise powerpoint displaying the key dates, graphs or charts is recommended, and you can use cue cards while you film yourselves.
You will have to send your videos by the DATE.
Note: please pay attention to your accent; since you are filming yourselves, you may shoot multiple takes of your scenes, so you can work and improve it!
Assessment:
1/ This presentation will be marked, worth 50% of your final grade.
2/ A written test (vocabulary (we have reviewed together), notions & grammar) with my colleague – Worth 50% of your final grade.
Training for your accent :
Please listen to the fist minute of a video and repeat what you HEAR, word for word, again and again, to improve your accent.
